A snapshot of what I'm currently up to. Last updated: April 20, 2026
Working on PostgreSQL internals at Zoho — currently deep in the Executor and connection management layer to improve distributed query performance.
Reading 'The Thursday Murder Club' by Richard Osman for some light-hearted mystery fiction, and 'Designing Data-Intensive Applications' by Martin Kleppmann to deepen my understanding of distributed systems design.
Exploring Rust in spare time with the help of Claude and trying some hands-on projects to get a feel for the language and ecosystem.
Writing a series on PostgreSQL Internals — how the overall system works, including the query planner, executor, and storage engine.
Engaging in coding sessions to explore new technologies, improve skills, and contribute to open-source projects. And also building the projects which can be used in my daily activities.
